지메일에서 보낸메일 취소 기능

오늘 제가 큰 실수를 했네요 .. ㅠㅠ
남자 교수님께 Deer Ms. Shepherd 라고 해서 보냈습니다.


순간 놀라서 메일 취소 기능 찾았보았습니다. 

Undo sending your mail


If you make a typo or regret sending a message, you can undo the action by enabling the "Undo send" lab. This lab will give you the option to take back a message you just sent.

To enable the lab:

1. Click the gear icon  in the upper right, then select Settings.
2. Click the Labs tab.
3. Find the "Undo Send" lab and select the Enable radio button.
4. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Select the amount of time you have to undo sending a message by clicking the gear icon , and finding the "Undo Send:" section in the General tab of your Settings.

위와 같이 설정하고 나서 메일을 보내게 되면 아래와 같이 "실행취소" 버튼이 추가됩니다.  

보낸 메일 취소

"실행취소" 버튼을 누르면 메일 발송이 취소가 됩니다. 

이 기능은 실제로 전송된 메일을 취소하는거 같지는 않고, 일정시간(대략30초) 정도 메일 보내기를 

지연 시키는 기능인거 같습니다. 30초 안에 버튼을 누르게 되면 발송 취소가 되는것이구요. 

오늘 실수를 통해서 새로운 기능 하나 배웠네요..
